From all indications coming from both Manchester and AS Valencia, Nicolas Otamendi is very close to joining Manchester.
The Valencia and Argentine center back who had a disappointing Copa America in Chile after loosing the final is set to complete lucrative transfer to the theater of dreams.
A move collapsed earlier this summer over Valencia’s refusal to sell for less than the Argentine’s £35million release clause, but amid reports of fresh talks, the Daily Express says Otamendi is now set to finally join United.
Otamendi would be the first part of a new-look United back four which could include Matteo Darmian and Sergio Ramos.
