Roy Keane's thought on Arsenal and United and Chelsea this season

As the Gunners head into the upcoming campaign with undoubtedly one of their best squad since the days of Henry, Viera, Bergkamp, kanu, et al. with pace, good balance, and discipline as well as a wealth of superb attacking talent, former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane has dismissed Arsenal’s chances of winning the title this season, criticising their mentality and eagerness to succeed in an interview The Sun...

When asked "Do Arsenal lack the mentality and eagerness to win the Premier League title? Keane replied “There are too many Arsenal players interested in selfies instead of winning Premier League titles. It’s all about how their bodies look, how their hair is, more so than winning football matches.

The former Manchester United midfielder also explained that “They have got good players, really good players, it’s just that one or two of them are more interested in selfies and six-packs,

Roy Keane feels the North Londoners have an abundance of squad ability but not the right mentality to succeed, criticising their focus and eagerness to triumph.

Roy Keane also believes Jose Mourinho's Chelsea are still title favourites. he added: “I still think Chelsea are the team to beat, the strongest spine and if Chelsea’s players show the same hunger and desire they did last year, they will win the league”

And although Keane expects United to improve under Van Gaal but he does not expect them to win the league as he believes United's spine is too weak to win the Premier League stating clearly that manager Louis van Gaal 's failure to sign a center-half this summer will limit their chances of winning a major trophy this season "I think they’ll do well. I think they’ve bought some good players, but good players don’t necessarily make a good team," Keane told Irish reporters. "

United will no doubt be better next year, they’ll need to be stronger out of the blocks, but if I was a betting man, which I’m not, I’d still go with Chelsea.

Keane won seven Premier League titles with United and he was known for his tough tackling approach and never say die attitude on the pitch.
