The Dutchman, who arrived from PSV in a deal worth around £22.3 million this summer, takes on the number previously worn by club legends including Bryan Robson, Eric Cantona, David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo and even Antonio Valencia at one point in time.

United unveiled their squad numbers for the 2015-16 campaign on Friday, and it was revealed that the 21-year-old be wearing the number seven on his back.
