Manchester United has officially submitted a 28 man squad yesterday (11th of August) to UEFA ahead of their Champions league first leg play-off against Club Brugge.
Its been ten years since United last qualify for the UCL group stage via play-off round under manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
One player though was not part of Louis van Gaal's selection, as his sale look imminent away from the club. Victor Valdes failed relationship with LVG has seen him fall down the pecking order to fifth, even below Sam Johnstone, till this point Victor Vlades is yet to have a shirt number for the club.
United host Club Brugge on August 18 and play the second leg on August 26. Should they qualify for the Champions League group stage, United would be in pot 2 for the draw.
